It may look like I am giving up on the ‘Sketch a Day’ campaign I started but that would not be true. I have decided that I do not want to give the daily sketch its own post every day. The sketches already have a page dedicated to them and now have a place located on left side. This will be updated daily and be linked to the ‘Sketch a Day’ gallery page. I also want to show readers that Animockery is more than an “art” site, I also write and we also have a second contributing author. Lastly I do not want flood the readers of our followers with too many blog posts.

Today will be the last time I use a blog post to display my sketch of the day. To be more accurate this will be the last time it will be “center stage”, on occasion I will add it as part of a regular post and link the gallery. I have already started this new way of adding daily sketches but I felt the need to make a statement. I have also felt that making a post for just daily sketches has started to get in the way of the direction we want this blog to go. As for the sketches them selves I will continue to change-up styles and add captions to include any special techniques or methods.

Today’s sketch was done with the assistance of my oldest son, he also chose what it is that I was to sketch.
