A couple of weeks ago on one of our podcasts (not sure which one, we’re actually building a nice little library of shows) I played some tunes from an old piece of vinyl. It was a Father’s Day gift…and boy what a gift. I love vinyl albums and I love Batman. So my wife and kid found a rather peculiar Batman record. It’s a 45 (one song on the A side and one song on the B side). There is no date and no indication who performed these charming little ditties. The inter-webs didn’t provide much information either. The good folks over at www.60sgarageband.com report the songs were sung by a group called the Merriettes. The album was recorded sometime in the mid-sixties. That’s about all I know. Please enjoy these two wonderful songs recorded from vinyl (as nature intended).
This is awesome.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed.
