Since we are only 6 followers away from me getting my butt in gear and actually doing a regular comic strips I decided to practice some character design. Today I did a little practice in clothes and motions. Both of these items are not my strong points so I was not super happy with the end result. If this were to be a piece for the comic I would simply fix it while inking. This is one thing that I have found to be a real treat when using my Intuos 4. Ink is no longer final. This has been a pain for me in the past since I would work hard on a pencil sketch and then goof it at the end with ink. One time I even sneezed while inking and screwed the whole thing. Anyway, I have to admit I started working on the comic this week. Since the goal mark is so close I thought it would be best to just get ahead of the game rather than get caught with my pants around my ankles.
This is Warren, he is a key character in the Animockery comic.
