Sorry this one is so late. Spent some time with the wife making Batman and Superman capes for the boys. They turned out pretty good for a last-minute idea.
Tonight’s sketch is along the same lines as last night. I seem to be feeling old school lately. Anyway I think the random sketches are starting to develop into an idea. I think I want to create an illustrated story. I think the whole steam punk thing is cool but I am a real fan of Dashiell Hammett style detective novels. The sort that involves a gritty underdog private detective and a damsel in distress. I figure I could combine them for something fun. Below is a revolver you might find in this story, I did not finish but I will ink this along with last nights if I get time over the weekend.
If anyone has interest in a gritty detective story set in a steam punk sort of world let me know in comments and I might find a little more motivation.
Just a concept for an illustrated story idea I have.
